About

Thirty-five years in manufacturing planning and supply chain systems — not a pitch deck version of it.

The work started in 1985, as a planning and inventory assistant at Sola ADC Lenses. By 1990, at Wexford Electronix, the role had moved into IT and manufacturing systems — and by 1997, into managing the materials and IT function for the plant, six planners and two IT assistants reporting in.

From 2000, a move to Snap-Tite Europe as manufacturing and materials planner, rolling out Oracle ERP manufacturing applications in partnership with the US parent company.

2012 brought a return to ERP systems work — this time leading the twelve-week training program that migrated Parker Hannifin’s Wexford plant from Oracle Apps to JD Edwards, testing every module outside Finance, and supporting every department through the transition. That JDE depth carried into the Planning and Inventory Manager role in 2014, then Supply Chain and Planning Manager from 2015 to 2019 — leading Inventory Management, Production Planning, MRP, and Sales Order Processing end to end.

The numbers from that period: inventory turns improved from 2.8 to 1.2, inventory accuracy held above 98.5%, and customer service levels stayed above 95% — “best in class” by the internal benchmark.

From 2020, the focus shifted to data: Senior Data Analyst at Integer Holdings, New Ross, running Power BI, advanced Excel, VBA, and Power Query against Oracle ERP for all supply chain and operations analytics — including detailed PFEP-based inventory analysis across the full parts portfolio. That work led to the Solutions Architect role in 2024: designing the data models, DAX measures, and governance that the analytics run on.
